VaultKey Safe is a zero-trust, offline-first digital vault designed for users who refuse to trust their most sensitive data to the cloud.

Unlike traditional password managers and vault apps, VaultKey never syncs, never uploads, and never stores recovery keys. All data is encrypted locally on the device using AES-256, with decryption derived in real time from the user’s Master PIN. If the PIN is lost, the data is mathematically unrecoverable—by design.

VaultKey combines a password manager, 2FA authenticator, secure notes system, and private file vault into a single, self-contained security application.

Security Architecture

Offline-First Design
No internet permissions required for vault operations. Data resides locally using IndexedDB and LocalStorage.

AES-256 Encryption
All vault contents are encrypted at rest using keys derived from the Master PIN.

Zero-Knowledge Model
The Master PIN is never stored or transmitted. Only the user holds the key.

Auto-Lock Protection
Automatically locks after inactivity or when the app is backgrounded.
